Moviepilot (www.moviepilot.com) is a fast growing European movie community with an innovative social utility – offering the first completely personalized entertainment guide in Europe.  We have over 40,000 members and 2.1 million plus unique users per month.

The company was started in June 2007 by former German independent filmmakers Jon Handschin and Tobias Bauckhage. It is backed by seven highly recognized European internet entrepreneurs lead by Stefan Glänzer (co-founder of the music revolution www.last.fm) and financed by the private equity fund Grazia Equity focusing on industry shaking innovations. Although started only two years ago, moviepilot currently ranks as second largest German film site on the web and growing steadily. English, French, Spanish and Polish versions of the site are rolling out in 2010.
